How to Use Hair Rollers Step 1 Wash your hair and dry it with a blow dryer until it's 80 percent dry and damp to the touch. Step 4 Secure the hair rollers with clips. Step 5 Blow dry your hair until it is completely dry for 10-15 minutes. Keep the hair rollers in for 15 minutes to allow them to cool. Step 6 Remove the hair curlers from your hair by carefully unwinding them ( Never brush your hair, or you'll ruin your fresh curls.) Step 7 For extra volume, spray your hair while it's hanging upside down. Step 8 For more defined curls, use hair wax and apply it to individual curls.
