It is ground from whole garbanzo beans (also known as Chick peas or ceca beans) and can be used in gluten free baking of breads, far in at a, socca, crackers, pizza crusts, fl at breads, and and even muffins and doughnuts! Try the recipe on the bag for a quick and delicious variation of falafels: falafel patties! Garbanzo Bean Flour is a good source of iron and fiber and offers 6g of protein per serving. Like all of our gluten free-labeled products, this product is processed in a dedicated gluten free facility and is R5-ELISA tested to confirm its gluten free status.
