The distinct aroma of FD Tartufi Italian black truffle slices combined with real Italian extra virgin olive oil to create a unique black truffle slices carpaccio (truffle carpaccio), which pairs perfectly on a cheese sandwich, bruschetta, crostini, mixed directly with tagliatelle, or shaved on pizza, steak, burger or any dish of your choice. Tuber Aestivum also called summer truffle or truffle de la Saint-Jean has a black color, its flesh is beige/ochre in color with a network of fine white marbling. its aroma reminds us of mushrooms and damp earth with a delicate hazelnut taste. Black summer truffles are available and in season from May to September in France, Italy, and Spain.
