This Ethiopian-inspired Berbere spice is a fiery, chilli based blend with a beautiful aroma and bite. Add a splash of oil to make a paste and you have a wonderful marinade for lamb, chicken or roast vegetables. This blend is coarsely ground to use more as a marinade. It will add incredible depth of flavour. Once finely ground, a pinch in sweet potato soup or rubbed onto wedges gives warmth with layers of spicy flavour. Try mixing it with yogurt for a spicy marinate. Perfect for chicken, lamb or fish. It's also great to add to a pepper grinder for a convenient kick whenever you want it.
