Our Peppermint Spirits is a proprietary blend of Peppermint leaf extract and essential oil. Both are prepared from Certified Organic Mentha x piperita plants. The aerial parts of the plant are harvested in summer and are then carefully shade-dried for the liquid extract. The essential oil is steam-distilled (solvents are never used).
