Description Kinjirushi Japanese Umeboshi Plum Paste with Shiso uses high quality Nanko Plums from the Kishu area of Japan. These pickled plums are used to make the famous umeboshi loved by both Japanese and people around the world. The umeboshi is then made into a paste form and stored in a convenient tube for ease of use. Our umeboshi paste is gluten free and vegan as well. You can use this umeboshi paste for many dishes including sushi, yakitori and onigiri. Try it directly on top of cucumbers, natto and tofu for a refreshing flavor.
