Description
Premium Organic Japanese Sencha Loose Leaf Green Tea Light yellow in the cup, this organic Sencha loose leaf tea has a fragrant aroma and a smooth refreshing finish. It is the green tea most commonly enjoyed in Japanese households. Young, organically grown first flush leaves are picked and quickly steamed, dried rolled and then blended to produce our premium tea. Our Sencha green tea plants are left to grow in the sunshine, which naturally increases the vitamin C and catechin content in the leaf. The high-grade Japanese green tea is mild, rich, slightly vegetal and a little earthy. Brew the perfect cup of Sencha green tea - hot or cold Temperature, amount of leaf, type of water and steep time are important factors you need to get right to make the perfect cup of hot Japanese Sencha green tea. We recommend: Tea: 4g (0.14 oz. 1 heaped tsp.), Water: 1 cup (200ml), Temperature: (70 - 80C), Steep Time: 45 - 60 seconds. Sencha Japanese tea can also be brewed cold. Add 6-7g of loose leaf green tea to a glass pitcher and fill up with 500-1000ml water. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours, strain the leaves then drink or store in the fridge for later. Ocha & Co.
