This extract contains alcohol, which cooks off during baking or cooking. Too much extract can throw off the flavor of no-bake treats. Will Chocolate Extract Change the Color of White Frosting? This extract is made with cocoa nibs and is naturally dark brown. It may alter the color of white cake or frosting.
