Polysorbate 20, also known as Tween 20, is commonly used as a solubilizer, emulsifer, wetting agent, and detergent in the personal care and food industries. Its stability makes it an excellent choice for home/DIY uses along with scientific or professional cosmetic uses. It is well suited for use in shampoos, lotions, bath bombs, aromatherapy, makeup, and more, to disperse aroma, flavor, or color throughout a solution. Single-ingredient, Non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, halal. DIY Room Refresh Spray: Mix one part polysorbate-20 to nine parts water and add up to 3% of your favorite essential oil. Usage varies depending on formulation & purpose. As a general guide, 10g polysorbate 20 will solubilize about 1-5g oil/fragrance.

- Used in a variety of skin care products, lotions, shampoos, bath bombs, aromatherapy, makeup bases, and more, for such purposes as allowing essential oils, fragrance, or other hydrophobic substances such as heavier oils (olive oil, argan oil, etc) to remain dissolved and dispersed in a water- or alcohol-based formulation; performs double-duty as a detergent in shampoos, body scrubs, and skin cleansers
- Used in food preparations such as making lozenges, ice cream, soft drinks, baked goods, icings, salad dressings, and more
