Description
Li Hing Mui Powder is made from Taiwans premium salted dried plums and is transformed into powder seasoning during a refinement process. The powder is made of ground dried plum skin that has previously been pickled in a combination of licorice, red food coloring, salt, and sugar. Li hing mui, often called pineapple powder, powdered candy or li hing for short, are the names that people in Hawai'i call this salted dried plum. It's known for its distinctive sweet & tangy flavor, which can be very unique to people who haven't grown up eating it. You will either love it or absolutely hate it and it all depends on your preferred taste buds. In Hawaii, youll find li hing mui candy, gummy bears, mangoes, arare, strawberry belts, and more in almost every supermarket or convenience store.
