Description
Castor Oil has been used therapeutically in ancient India, China, Persia, Egypt, Africa, Greece, Rome, the Americas, and in 17th century Europe. This oil is also known as Palma Christi or the "Palm of Christ". Edgar Cayce mentions castor oil many, many times in his readings. Today it is used as an emollient and skin softener, application for gastrointestinal problems, lacerations, and other skin disorders such as psoriasis. It is also found in many skin care products. Our product is pure, natural, cold pressed and cold processed castor oil with no hexane. It is ideal for use in Castor Oil Packs and excellent for massage into joints and muscles. The external use of this ancient oil can be enhanced through the use of the "Castor Oil Pack" - a piece of flannel cloth saturated with oil, and applied to the body to better concentrate the oil's penetration, allowing the natural, healthy properties of the oil to work.
