- DIRECTIONS: For African Black Control gel application, apply the gel to desired areas with your fingertips to smooth down edges. For Braid application, part clean hair into sections. Prior to braiding, apply product throughout the sections to lay the hair flat and to conceal frizz and flyaways. Strat braiding! For locs application, apply an adequate amount to the roots or new growth area and start twisting!
