Palouse Brand Chickpeas are grown in some of the most fertile soil in Washington State. Our 5 pound burlap bag is not only an environmentally friendly packaging option but also helps to maintain the quality of the chickpeas because the inside of the bag remains dark for color preservation. We strive to make sure each bag of garbanzo beans is uniform in size and color, while also triple cleaning the beans to make sure the product you are receiving is the highest quality available. The Maders are a fifth generation farming family whose operations span across the southeast part of Washington State and are headquartered in Pullman, Washington. Palouse Brand is a vertically integrated company, giving you a true farm to table experience. We are able to provide field locations, crop photos, dates that the products were seeded and harvested, and other specific information regarding our products and the crop year. Being a vertically integrated company we are also able to adapt our farming practices and work with our customers to get the highest quality products. Palouse Brand chickpeas are certified Kosher Parve, Non-GMO Project Verified and our farming methods are Certified Sustainable by the Food Alliance.
