Description Mandelic acid is a chemical exfoliant, meaning it can help remove layers of debris through a reaction with the skin (rather than exfoliating via abrasive scrubs). By dissolving skin cells, mandelic acid is known to help increase cell turnover, reducing the appearance of skin damage or blemishes. Mandelic acid also strengthens the skin so it stays bright with continued use. Niacinamide is known to help promote keratin, a type of protein that keeps your skin firm and healthy. Niacinamide can help your skin improve the production of ceramide (lipid) barrier, which can, in turn, help retain moisture. This is beneficial for all skin types, including mature skin. Resveratrol assists in protecting the skin's surface, interrupts and helps rebuff negative environmental influences, and brightens the appearance of a tired-looking complexion. It also has significant skin-calming properties that may help minimize the look of redness.
