Located on the shores of Willapa Bay in Washington state, Ekone Oyster Company and Taylor Shellfish Farms are small independent, family run oyster businesses. We specialize in smoked oysters, offering a variety of flavors, smoked mussels, tuna and octopus. Always local, never outsourced. Made in the USA. In order to produce the finest tasting shellfish, we have to be responsible stewards of the environment where the oysters grow. Water quality is vital to growing healthy shellfish. We strive for good management practices, both in our cannery and on the bay, ensuring our commitment to our family, the local community, and for the future. All of our oysters are sustainably farmed, harvested and processed in strict accordance with local, state and federal health guidelines. All of our products are best choices by the Monterey Bay Aquariums Seafood Watch Program. For over thirty-five years, the family at Ekone and five generations of Taylors have been producing quality, local and sustainable products. From our signature smoked oyster line, to live, in-shell, shucked oysters and the newest Ekone Seafoods items, we strive to bring you the best product we can, truly in the Chinook Good Spirit. Ekone Seafoods is proud to be able to bring you the finest quality Albacore Tuna. This tuna is wild caught in the waters of the Pacific Ocean (using dolphin safe fishing methods, of course). We carefully hand pack and lightly salt each 3.5oz can with quality tuna meat with a touch of salt, no added water or oil, letting the canning process highlight the superior natural flavors of the fish. Each 3.5-ounce can is made with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. They are also shelf stable for up to four years!
