Description
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is an annual plant of the Asteraceae family, and is native to eastern and southern Europe. Chamomile tea derives from the Greek word chamaimlon, which translates to earth apple. Chamimile tea is so called because of the fresh apple-like scent of the plant. Ancient Egyptians used camilia flower to honor the gods and embalm the dead. In Europe, chamomile has been used in wellness traditions since the 1st century AD. Our chamomile flowers are non-GMO, from organic source, and our packaging is always BPA-free.
