Using sensors, we monitor the subterranean and surface water-bearing stratum for a correct control of the water resources and to ensure that the quantity of CO2 in the water at the spring is the same as in every bottle of Ferrarelle water. Moreover, Ferrarelle is the first and only mineral water that can at present boat SGS certification as to the natural origins of its effervescence; a proof of quality guaranteeing the 100% natural origins of its bubbles. How the natural effervescence is born Ferrarelle water becomes effervescent when it encounters the natural gas of an ancient and now-extinct volcano as it passes through the uncontaminated depths of the earth. The drops of rain fall on the Roccamonfina volcano and penetrate into the ground. Tricking through the pyroclastic flows, the water is purified and is enriched with mineral salts, including silica and potassium. Then it drops through the deeper limestone strata and there is enriched with magnesium, calcium and bicarbonate. It is during this underground process that the carbon dioxide is dissolved in the water and gives it that delicately fizzy taste that makes it unique.
