Daikon radish grown in Miyazaki prefecture is dried under the sunshine around two weeks in winter. Crunchy texture and UMAMI are increased by drying daikon radish. Michimoto Foods has been producing Pickled radish made by dried daikon radish in Miyazaki Prefecture since 1966. And we are sole company of speciality of making pickled dried-radish in Japan.We continue to stick to make pickled radish in a Japanese traditional method that uses dried daikon radish. In Sep 2016, we acquired ISO22000 certification that is international standard of food safety management system to strengthen food safety by HACCP method.
