It also regulates epidermal keratinisation and protects against dehydration. Provitamin B5 (D-panthenol) - this provitamin is converted into pantothenic acid, otherwise known as vitamin B5. It is an intensive and permanent moisturizer, protecting the epidermis from excessive drying. It is a powerful agent in the reduction of irritation and has a soothing and protecting effect on tender skin. Vitamin A - most frequent form is retinol palmitate.
