In Scandinavia this beverage is called Julmust (pronouncedyool-moost) is Swedish jul "Christmas" and must "Sap" combined. Jumulst is a soft drink that is mainly consumed in Sweden around Christmas. During the rest of the year it is usually quite difficult to find in stores, but sometimes it is sold at other times of the year under the name must. Julmust has been a favorite among adults and kids since its creation in 1910. Rumor has it that kids are so enamored of it that they hoard and stash away the drink to be enjoyed later in the year. The caffeine-free soda, packaged in 12-ounce bottles with a festively designed label, is slightly different from typical American cola.
