Mansure Prettyman's Harp daily cleansing bar is a SOAP-FREE, exceptionally gentle, moisturizing and PH balanced Syndet bar for the whole body. Harp soap is formulated with the highest quality acidified cleansers on the market. We avoid using saponified oils and fats for our base cleanser such as Palm, Coconut, Olive oil, or goats milk -THESE PRODUCTS SOUND NICE- but they require the use of LYE. Lye is a dangerous and extremely alkaline product that raises the pH levels of soap, even after the LYE is strained-out. This is why 99 of soaps cause dry skin, especially "natural soaps". HARP cleansers also add Shea Butter for extra moisturizing benefits, as well as Meadowfoam oil, borage oil and macadamia seed oil for skin tone evening and repair. Gentle enough to be used on the whole body including your face. Harp cleansers are non-comedogenic, so they don't clog pores like traditional soaps made from vegetable oils. Absolutely ZERO lye is used in the production of our cleansers which is what makes us different from "natural soaps". • PLEASE NOTE The Fragrance Free version is designed for extra sensitive skin and becuase of this, there is no fragrance or fragrance masking agents added. The bar smell will be the natural smell of the ingredients (similiar to an unscented candle). This is to further reduce irritation for people with extra sensitive skin. • HARP has Low pH-Balanced base cleansers that don't disrupt your skin's acid mantle. This reduces the drying effect the majority of bar soaps cause. The reason for this is because 99 of bar soaps use a process called saponification, which requires the use of Lye, which brings the pH levels up to around 10 - causing dryness. Not HARP. Our base cleanser is Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate. (zero Lye- low pH process)
• HARP is non-comedogenic, meaning it gives a great cleaning without leaving that pore clogging residue
