Natural Factors Milk Thistle Phytosome capsules are standardized to 80% Silymarin, a mixture of valuable flavonolignans, bound to phosphatidylcholine (from lecithin) to enhance bioavailability. Numerous clinical studies show that Silymarin supports and promotes liver function in healthy individuals, providing an antioxidant effect on the liver, fortifying it. Dandelion, artichoke and turmeric have been traditionally used and scientifically studied for their support of liver health and have been added to enhance the formula. (Phytosomes are herbal substances that are combined with phosphatidylcholine molecules to enhance absorption and bioavailability. This new molecule is both water and fat soluble.)
