Description Snail Serum contains a biomimetic variation of Marine Cone Snails venom known as XEP-018, a clinically proven biomimetic peptide shown to minimize muscle contractions, delivering both instant and visible results which include smoother and more even-toned skin, remarkable reduction in wrinkle depth, visible smoothing of expression lines, and maximum moisture retention. This biomimetic peptide acts as a modulator of neuromuscular transmission, which controls facial movement. The glycolic acid found in snail mucin is said to help cells produce collagen and elastin, which even out skin tone and smooth its surface, and the glycosaminoglycans derived from the mucin further firm and support wrinkle reduction. Additionally, our Snail Serum contains Niacinamide (2%), also known as vitamin B3 and Nicotinic Acid, an effective skin-restoring ingredient that offers benefits for aging skin such as visibly improving pore size, uneven skin tone, and fine lines. Niacinamide also helps to create promote an even skin tone and a glowing complexion. Snail Serum also contains Hyadisine which is shown to increase skin moisture by 20.6% on average after just 24 hours of application, making it 58.5% more hydrating than Hyaluronic Acid.
