In 1907, when Joyva Founder Nathan Radutzky came to America from Kyiv, he brought his recipe for Halvah. Made from over 50% crushed sesame seeds called Tahini and a few simple ingredients, our Halvah is mixed by hand in traditional copper bowls into a smooth layered fudge-like texture. With a sweet-savory taste, our Halvah is nutrient dense, and naturally gluten free. We invite you to have a taste of this tradition!
