Description
Description These cookies are made and folded by hand before being baked to perfection. Our soft dough Kolaczki are filled with Apricot, Strawberry, Raspberry, and Cream Cheese. Those flavors have been the favorites of the Midwest as well as parts of the East Coast for better part of the last two decades. Kolaczki originated in Central Europe but nobody knows exactly where and when. Few different Central European countries have their own version of this cookie. Shapes, sizes, and dough varies based on the country and sometimes even the region of one country. Some make it round, some make it folded, some dough is hard and dry, and some are soft and moist. Traditional fillings include apricots, plumsprunes, raspberry, strawberry, almond, poppy seed, blueberry, cherry, and lemon. Kolaczki were usually made around Christmas or other major holidays that usually involve feastfamily gatherings. We love making them daily for you to enjoy any time you want!
