Dashi broth is one of the main components of Japanese cuisine. Traditionally it takes a long time to prepare. With our Umami Dashi Soup Base and Seasoning you get the same umami flavor, created from traditional methods using all-natural ingredients, but without the hassle. You can make dashi broth in minutes or use it as a seasoning on a variety of foods like French fries, steak, pasta, or fried rice. All ingredients are sourced in Japan, like Hidaka kombu from Hokkaido or the bonito and dried bonito flakes from Yaizu port in Shizuoka. Mackerel, sardines, and flying fish from Japan are also in the ingredients.
