Description
Methylene Blue (MB) is a well-established drug, originally synthesized as a textile dye in 1876. The small molecular weight allows MB to be delivered into tissues fast. According to the free radicals theory of aging, cell and tissue aging are a result of free radicals attacks. MBs antioxidative properties mainly improve mitochondrial function and break the mitochondrial damage cycle, which makes it a great candidate to help support anti-aging. NAC and Glycine are both non-essential amino acids that are found in a variety of food sources and are also produced naturally within the body. In certain cases, including instances of chronic disease and age-related degeneration, the body fails to produce sufficient amounts of NAC from L-cysteine sources. It is for this reason that some longevity experts consider NAC to be an essential amino acid in its own rightWhen combined with Glycine, this blend supports the generation of Glutathione, an essential antioxidant. One research study notes that glutathione production increased by up to 231 when senior adults were administered supplemental glycine and cysteine. This blend contains both Collagen Type I and III and Creatine in order to support skin elasticity and prevent muscular breakdown. Much of the benefits of Methylene Blue, GlyNAC, Collagen and Creatine can be further studied online, and are well supported by many research studies.
