It reduces the activity of melanocyte tyrosinase thereby treating melasma, UV-induced hyperpigmentation & other forms of hyperpigmentation. Butylresorcinol can strongly inhibit the activity of tyrosinase, resulting in reduction of hyperpigmentation & age spots.
