NewVue Sodium chloride, USP 1000 mg (1 gram) is the active ingredient in each tablet of sodium chloride (normal salt tablets). It can be used as an electrolyte replenisher, to make a standard isotonic solution of sodium chloride, to prevent heat cramps caused by excessive sweating, and for any other purpose prescribed by a doctor. It can also be temporarily used to relieve the symptoms of headaches, colds, bedwetting, and other ailments. Finally, it can help reverse the symptoms of sodium depletion.
