Ocufit Eye Health Formula (AREDS 2 Based) Lower Zinc Formula is an all natural supplement that contains all six ingredients used throughout the five year AREDS 2 Study. The National Eye Institute (NEI) concluded at the end of the study that this specific formula benefits those the best with moderate to advanced AMD. Ocufit NOW contains Natural Vitamin E. Throughout the duration of both ARED studies, patients were given synthetic Vitamin E (a less expensive, petroleum based version). We use Natural Vitamin E in Ocufit because its a safer more effective form of the vitamin. By using Natural Vitamin E, the Scientific Equivalent to 400IU's of synthetic Vitamin E is half (200IU's).
