Both a preservative and flavoring, citric acid is used in cooking and for DIY cleansers. Our bulk citric acid also helps prevent the oxidation, or browning, of cut fruit. Frontier Co-op Citric Acid is derived from a non-GMO corn source.Suggested Uses:Use as a substitute for lemon juice in recipes and in canning. Use in DIY kitchen and carpet cleaners.Directions:Mix 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid with one cup of cold water; pour over fruit to reduce oxidation.
