Description
Rosehips (Rosa canina) are the fruit of the common dog rose, also known as Witches' Briar. When the rose blossoms are left on the plant after their petals have fallen, they form a seed pod and a rosehip is born. In folklore, rosehips were used to support both the body and mind during womens moon cycles. Sleeping with rosehips under your pillow is also thought to protect against bad dreams. Rosehips contain a variety of antioxidants and Vitamin C.*
