Description
Illipe nut butter is extracted from the nuts of the Shorea stenoptera, a tropical tree. In terms of texture, the Illipe Butter is very similar in nature to cocoa butter, but has a relatively higher melting point. This makes it a good ingredient to include for making creams, balms, soaps and etc. It has a mild odor and is a renowned skin moisturizer for the skin, it restores elasticity to aging and damaged skin. This makes if a good ingredient for sun care related products as well as bar soaps. Because of it's hard texture, it provides hardness for lip balms, skin protectant balms, barrier balms and bar soaps. It has a Long shelf life of 2 years and softens the skin without leaving it greasy. Illipe nut butter has a higher melting point than many other natural butters but despite this, it still melts on contact with the skin.
