- Cooking directions: Slowly whisk in 1 cup of sprouted corn grits into 4 1/2 cups of boiling water. Stir constantly for 305 minutes until grits thicken. Reduce heat to low and let grits continue to cook about 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. Season to taste and serve.
