Jean Marie Farina's perfumes were used by Napoleon and royalty throughout Europe. In 1862 Armand Roger and Charles Gallet created the Parfumerie Roger Gallet and purchased the "House of Jean Marie Farina." Roger Gallet's signature round soaps in pleated silk paper were introduced in 1879. In the 1930's, Roger Gallet was known for its beautiful art deco packaging.
