Our tea is harvested from the Kakegawa region of Shizuoka, where it is grown in a sustainable way that has been recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System by the UN. Genmaicha is one of Japan's most popular varieties and is widely enjoyed for its toasty aroma almost as much as its nutty flavor.Steeping Instructions:For best results, brew using a traditional Japanese teapot (kyusu) with a wide belt style inner mesh. Use 1 Tablespoon (5 grams) of Genmaicha in 10 Ounces of hot water (175 F or below) and steep for 30-60 seconds.
