Yummmy Parboiled Rice is a healthier alternative to white rice. Unlike white rice, it is not sticky due to its special processing. It's unique processing allows for the grain to absorb nutrients, becoming an excellent source of fiber, calcium, potassium and vitamin B-6. Cooking is quick and easy, yielding fluffy and separate kernels once cooked, and ideal for reheating leftovers. It can be cooked over the stove, in a rice cooker, Instant Pot or even in a microwave! Cooking instructions - stovetop: 1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a 2 quart heavy saucepan. Add olive oil and salt, if desired. 2. Stir in 1 cup rice. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed. 3. Enjoy as a side dish, rice bowl, toss it into a wrap, or however else you like your rice!
