Great chocolate starts with great cocoa, and our organic chocolate bars are crafted from highly prized Trinitario cocoa beans, known for their intense and dynamic flavour. Farmers harvest fully ripe cacao pods by hand, and beans are cleaned and sun-dried using traditional methods. Cocoa nibs are then gently roasted to bring out aroma, and finely ground to release all the flavour. The natural oils found inside cocoa nibs are added to give our dark chocolate bars their smooth luxurious texture. Raw cane sugar and natural vanilla extract offset the bitterness of the dark chocolate, and the resulting mixture is blended and carefully tempered for a glossy shine and perfect snap. Green and Black chocolate bars are Fairtrade and UN Certified Ethically Sourced.
