Description
In 2017, we took our first sourcing trip and visited Ingemann Cacao. We saw the farms and cacao plantations first hand and learned more about the entire process from harvesting pods to the fermentation of the beans. We are deeply touched by the level of care and dedication they and their farmers have for sustainable fine cacao in Nicaragua. Taste Notes: a deep, earthy character is forefront reminiscent of mushrooms, rye bread, and tannic red wines.
