C.M.C / Tylo (Petal Powder) can be used as a binder and thickener for sugar paste and is great for firming up Sugar Paste so it is more pliable. Simply knead the petal powder into your paste to turn it into gum paste. Pot contains 55 g (1.95 oz)IngredientsIngredients: Carboxy methyl cellulose (E466).Directions2 teaspoons tylo per 500g fondant. Knead the dough and let it stand for 2 hours, in an airtight package. After that, it will still be easily kneadable, perfect for modeling and it will harden again after working it. The dough obtained from the fondant is also called plasticine. Tip: You can also make food glue yourself, mixing tylo with a little water, this substance will have to rest for at least 1 hour before use.
